Those becoming angels are already making plans
Realising the importance of their task
They’re practising in silence to take all humankind
Beyond, within a second, with a glance
They’ve realised the special role that they are
destined for
The unique role God has selected them to do
A special part that is remembered throughout history
Forever glorified in words, paintings and statues
An angel though seperate is part of God
In that, whatever they do, God would do
The love and compassion shining from their eyes
Is God’s love, comforting and true
Angels find the time for silence amongst the crowds
Amidst the noise, the distractions, hullabaloo
They’re the ones sitting quietly in the corner
Lost in their inner world, lost in their eternal love for You
Are you one who is to become an angel?
Have you realised yourself, what you must do?
If you have, more than the handful out of millions,
You’re one in that handful, the world’s waiting just for you.
